Reminder

Well, it is the middle of April and we have had only a handful of tickets purchased for the reunion dinner event on Saturday night.  The reunion is 2 and a half months away but the deadline to purchase your tickets is quickly approaching.  We set the date for May 1st so we could have time to get all the door prizes, decor, food lined up in plenty of time but time is running out.  So, here is the plan.  The deadline to send your money in for tickets has been moved back to May 15th.  HOWEVER, you must send a written confirmation of how many tickets you will be purchasing to qandaray@gmail.com, no later than May 1st.  (That's Q as in quack on the address)

Here is the budget we are looking at: We started out with NO money and are depending on ticket sales to make the event happen.  Saturday nights event is costing ~$5,000.  To make this happen, we need to sell at least 80 tickets at $60/per person.  We have sold about 10 so far and that is counting the planning committee members.  At this point the committee is not going to proceed with any other planning until we can get tickets sold.  There is a chance Saturday night's event will be cancelled OR that the price of tickets will increase if you wait to buy yours at the last minute.  Please do not wait.  We would hate to have to cancel because people are just waiting to buy their tickets at the door. 

We have tried to reach out to all GHS graduates from the class of 2002 but if you know of someone who does not know about the reunion, isn't on facebook or hasn't heard about the blog, please let them know.  We have tried to get the word out without spending much. 

The committee is looking forward to seeing everyone and is very excited about the events we have planned.  We hope you will buy your tickets soon!
